Scott Davis is the 1993 & 1994 U.S. Men's Figure Skating National Champion. In 1994, he defeated 1988 Olympic gold medalist Brian Boitano to win the title. Davis represented the United States at the 1994 Winter Olympics, where he placed 8th.  Known for his extraordinary spinning ability, Davis was coached by Kathy Casey in Colorado Springs and Galina Zmievskaya in Simsbury, Connecticut. 

After turning professional, he performed with Champions on Ice, Stars on Ice Japan, Feld Entertainment's 'Grease on Ice' and Ice Castle Theater's 'Footloose on Ice' with Nancy Kerrigan.

After graduating from the University of Calgary with a degree in Biological Sciences, Scott began coaching full time.  In 2007, Scott Davis became the Director of Skating at the Calalta Figure Skating Club.

Scott is currently a Level III Certified coach and is the coach and trainer of Two-time Canadian Silver Medalist, World Team competitor and 2010 Olympian, Vaughn Chipeur. In addition, Scott is one of a select group of ISU Technical Specialists in the world and has served as an ISU Moderator in the education and training of fellow Specialists. Finally, Scott has been a member of various committees including the Calgary Sport Council, the Learning to Win Stage of Skate Canada's Long Term Athlete Development committee, and the United States Athlete Advisory Committee.
